Trail conditions for each club are posted on Trail conditions, updates and changes and club event info will be posted there each week on Tuesdays and updated as conditions change. The information comes directly from the clubs and is your best source for accurate information regarding the Marinette County snowmobile, ATV/UTV trail system. Trail reports are also shared with the Marinette County Snowmobile Alliance Face Book page, Travel Wisconsin, and The Real North.

Marinette County Highway ATV/UTV Routes are Closed from December 1, 2018 to May 1, 2019.

Marinette County Trails are VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT!

All the clubs are grooming. All clubs are putting in long hours in the groomers. Watch for groomers working out on the trails. They can be out day or night. Give them the right away. Get safely out of the way or off the trail until they pass or the driver signals you to pass by.

There are 4 clubs that allow ATV/UTV winter use; Dun-Good, Pemenee, Near North and Iron Snow Shoe.

Our trails have all been groomed and are in excellent riding condition. More snow coming tomorrow which will result in terrific conditions. ATV’s & UTV’s on Near North trails are allowed. Watch for signs

DUN-GOOD RIDERS: Trails are open, groomed and in very good/excellent condition. Use caution in a couple of spots: On the Trout Haven trail, there is a water hole 2 1/2 miles south of Dunbar. There could be some ice around it. Trail 5 S. (Pembine trail) has several icy spots. Spur Lake trail has a couple icy spots . Goodman and south to Silver Cliff is good. Highway 8 west trail is being groomed today (Tuesday). Overall trails are in good shape. Fresh snowfall tomorrow should really help with all icy spots.

PEMENEE RIVER RIDERS:  Norway trail was groomed yesterday, trail to the Dunbar junction & Niagara trail are being groomed today. Trail conditions are good!! Watch for logging in the area of Barlow Lake and Forest Rd 1003. Use caution in this area.

RANGER CITY RIDERS: (snowmobile only) - Our trails are in excellent condition. Our groomer operators will be out throughout the week and will have the whole trail system groomed by the end of the week. Come ride as the trail conditions are great! Remember RCR clubhouse parking lot is a designated park and ride. As always please enjoy and ride safe. PLEASE NOTE LOGGING OPERATIONS: Our north end of the East Trail between Marek Road and Forest Road 404 is currently being logged. The trail does have snow cover and is in good riding conditions through the small section of logging.

PLEASE NOTE LOGGING OPERATIONS: Our north end of the East Trail between Marek Road and Forest Road 404 is currently being logged. The trail does have snow cover and rideable through the small section of logging

IRON SNOW SHOE: (snowmobile & atv/utv trails)
Trail Conditions: Excellent. Snow Cover: 20 inches plus.
Area Report:
Another fabulous weekend in the books…also, another one coming up. We are forecasted to get about five more inches of snow this week. Our groomers have been out non-stop trying to keep up with all the snow and with you as well. We are noticing a lot of deer on the trail due to the large amount of snow in the woods. Please do not chase them. Give them a moment and they will get out of your way. Lake crossings still are safe, however, may be slushy and rough. Trails are very good…Enjoy them.
News and Reports: All Season Long: The Bunny Hunt – Find those bunnies in the trees or along the trail. Valuable coupons and prizes are inside! For more information, ask any of our business sponsors…

KUMALONG Sno-Riders: Trails are great and groomed daily! ATV’S/UTV’S ARE NOT ALLOWED ON OUR TRAIL SYSTEM AT ANY TIME.
River Road Riders trails are all open and in good condition. Best snow conditions in years! Grooming operations are ongoing. Atv’s utv’s are not allowed on RRR trail system at any time.

Remember, that most of the Marinette County ATV-UTV trails are open year ’round, but there are exceptions!

Note:  Kumalong (Coleman), River Road Riders (Marinette) and Ranger City Riders (Amberg) do NOT allow atv’s & utv’s on their trail systems at any time.  Ride legal! Know before you go so we do not lose trail access. The new 2019 snowmobile-atv-utv map is now available from the clubs, business sponsors and Marinette County Tourism. Pick up a copy or contact a local club or Marinette County Tourism  to obtain a map. It’s a year ’round map that clearly shows where the trails are and what type of trail it is and if atv’s/utv’s are allowed.
