Our 15 waterfalls offer short and long hikes in serene and natural settings. Our self-guided Waterfalls Tour provides a fun, family-friendly way to get back to nature. Consider taking along a picnic basket and take a leisurely lunch alongside your favorite falls! There is nothing quite like driving down a county road and navigating to a Waterfall in the Marinette County.

Veteran's Falls are located inside of Veteran's Memorial Park on the Thunder River. You will find a total of three falls, a walking bridge with trails and exquisite scenery and photo opportunities. This park is both a day use park and Campground featuring 15 electric campsites, picturesque waterfall, wooden bridge, hiking, hand pump to access potable water and some great trout fishing.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 to Crivitz, W on County Rd W (11.5 miles), N Parkway Rd (3.5 miles) to the park entrance.
Located on the scenic Peshtigo River North of Silver Cliff in McClintock County Park. This Falls is a series of rapids with bridges available for exceptional viewing. There are plenty of trails to explore that intertwine with multiple bridges that weave over large and small streams and rapids of water. There are no shortages of water, streams or rapids in this park. 1.5 miles S from Falls is McClintock Campground entrance.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 to Wausaukee, W County Rd C (19 miles), N County Rd I (7 miles), 1/2 mile N of the McClintock Campground entrance.
These Falls on the Peshtigo River are easily accessible, offer a scenic bridge, walkways, picnic area, playground, and a unique covered fire pit! These falls are located inside Goodman Park. It is a great place for pictures with the large rock backgrounds and attractive Falls.

Twelve Foot Falls AND Eight Foot Falls

There are two different falls upstream from eachother in this park. Twelve Foot Falls and Eight Foot Falls. To really climb and reach the top of Twelve Foot Falls, the terrain can be uneven with overgrown roots and taller rocks to climb. But, there is also an easy access viewing area adjacent to the parking lot for those who are unable to climb. This is also a Camping Park and has a scenic picnic area by falls to enjoy. It's on the Pike River, which is known for its trout fishing and natural beauty. Eight Foot Falls is just a path away following a short trail along a stream of water.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 to Pembine, W US HWY 8 (5.5 miles), S on Lily Lake Rd (1.5 miles), W on Twin Lakes Rd (1/2 mile), S on Twelve Foot Falls Rd (2.5 miles), Follow 12 Foot Falls sign to Park. Eight Foot Falls is also inside. Eight Foot Falls is just a path away following a short trail along a stream of water.
Alternate Route: From US HWY 141, W on Smeester School Road, W on Trout Haven Road to Twelve Foot Falls Road.
Eighteen Foot Falls
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 to Pembine, W US HWY 8 (5.5 miles), S on Lily Lake Rd (1.5 miles), W on Twin Lakes Rd (1/2 mile), S on Twelve Foot Falls Rd (2.5 miles), E follow Eighteen Foot Falls Sign.
Long Slide Falls

Long Slide Falls drop about 50 feet through the rocks. It's a magnificent scene! The terrain is advanced to view the lower portion. Smalley Falls is located upstream 1/2 mile from Long Slide (drive there) and the falls are just a short walk from parking lot, to a narrow unique waterfall. From the Falls, you may want to travel a couple of miles east to Morgan Park for camping, swimming and picnicking.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 (5.5 miles N of Pembine), E Morgan Park Rd (1/2 mile) to Long Slide Rd, park at the end of Long Slide Rd, 1/4 mile walk from the paved parking area.
Google Map - Smalley Falls
Smalley Falls is located upstream 1/2 mile West from Long Slide (drive there) and the falls are just a short walk from parking lot, to a narrow unique waterfall. From the Falls, you may want to travel a couple of miles east to Morgan Park for camping, swimming and picnicking.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 (5.5 miles N of Pembine), E Morgan Park Rd, about 1/4 mile to Smalley Falls Entrance on right.
Located on the Pike River in the Town of Dunbar. The Rapids can be viewed right on top of the bridge. Short trail to water, these rapids are a good addition when viewing Four Foot Falls, who's park entrance is less than 100 yards away from Carney Rapids.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 in Pembine, W Hwy 8, S Old Cty Rd A, 1.5 miles to Carney Rapids (bridge).
Four Foot Falls
Located on the Pike River in the Town of Dunbar. A short walk to the falls from the parking area, through trails that can be muddy, sits a unique four foot drop in a small peculiar waterfall section of the Pike River. After viewing Four Foot Falls, look left out of parking lot for Carney Rapids Bridge and sign.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 in Pembine, W Hwy 8, S Old Cty Rd A, 1.5 miles to Park sign.
Located in Marinette County Forest, Horseshoe Falls is tucked away in Horseshoe Falls Equestrian Trails. A short gravel path changes to rocks and tree roots bringing you to the falls.
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 in Pembine, W US HWY 8 (5.5 miles), S on Lily Lake Rd (1.5 miles), W on Twin Lakes Rd (1/2 mile), S Twelve Foot Falls Rd (7 miles), Forest Rd 510 (1/2 mile), turnoff to the falls.
In Amberg on US HWY 141, E on Cty Rd K, 1/2 mile to the power line right-of-way. Then walk a couple of blocks north under the lines. A path takes you to the rapids on the Pike River.
This park includes upper and lower falls with unique rock formations. Plenty of paths, rocks, and nature to climb through during your visit. This park offers a playground, picnic area and hand pump water.
DIRECTIONS: HWY 141 just S of Amberg and 9 miles N of Wausaukee.
This is a beautiful 1/4 mile hike through the woods to view some world class whitewater. The terrain can be rough in places and there are a few different viewing points throughout your trek. Beautiful rock formations to carefully climb down to get a closer look at your final destination.
DIRECTIONS: From Wisconsin: US HWY 8 across the Menominee River to Michigan. Follow sign to Pier's Gorge Rd. From Norway, Michigan: US HWY 2, US HWY 8 to Pier's Gorge Rd.
A slower moving, more calm and wider portion of the Menominee River, just E of Pembine. Stop and smell the roses (figuratively) and show off your selfie skills with the 'Travel Wisconsin' Selfie Station!
DIRECTIONS: US HWY 141 (1/2 mile N of Pembine), E on Cty Rd R. (7.2 miles), Rgt on Pemene Dam Rd, immediate left to cross over railroad tracks and another immediate left, 1 mile to parking area.
