Camp Bird is owned by Marinette County and is located on County Forest land 16 miles west of Crivitz. It is nestled in among Red Pines and Oak trees and sits on the shores of Sand Lake. The camp is completely modernized with showers, flush toilets and electricity.

Scenic Location
This beautiful camp is located on scenic Sand Lake (20 acres in size). Sandy swimming beach, docks, canoes, rowboats, stream and lake fishing, 10 acres of mowed lawn, huge red pines, oak trees, hiking trails, adventure course, nature center building, recreation building. Camp Bird is the property of Marinette County and is located on County Forest Land.
Available For Rent
Camp Bird is available for rentals from the third week of April through the middle of October. The camp is currently being used by youth groups, schools, social service agencies, and religious organizations.
We would like to extend an invitation, and to encourage, other groups such as scouts, universities, environmental, educational, and other organizations to contact us to request information on how to use the facilities at Camp Bird. In addition, Camp Bird may be used by adult groups such as family reunions/weddings or corporate groups as a day use event or overnights stay. Please contact us for availibility.

Convenient Accommodations
There are 42 well-kept, log cabin style buildings at the camp of which 24 are for sleeping cabins. We can accommodate groups as small as 30 people or as large as 230 people.
The camp has modern kitchen facilities, a dining center, sinks, showers, flush toilets, and electricity.
