The Marinette County Highway Department imposes seasonal weight restrictions on most county trunk highways during the spring thaw. The seasonal weight restrictions typically occur from mid-March to around the end of April. There is a Seasonal Weight Limit Posting Definitions document in Forms & Documents link on this page.
Effective Monday, May 1, 2023 at 6:00 am, seasonal weight restrictions for spring thaw will be lifted on Marinette County highways north of CTH X except for CTH I. The posted weight restrictions will remain on CTH I until further notice.
Overweight/Oversize permits for emergency purposes can be downloaded from the Forms & Documents>Permits section of the General Information page. Please allow 3 business days for processing overweight permits.
