The Child and Family Services Unit provides a continuum of care from counseling through institutional care. These services are family-focused to resolve issues related to either delinquency, or children with special care and treatment needs. Child Protective Services involve investigations of suspected abuse or neglect and on-going services to children who have been abused or neglected.

May is National Foster Care Month and this marks a special time of year to raise awareness about the needs of nearly 7,500 children and youth in the foster care system in Wisconsin and to celebrate the thousands of dedicated foster families, social workers and service providers who care for these youth.
