Coordinate psychiatric management of patients with Staff Psychiatrist’s treatment plan, including mentally ill and alcohol/drug abusing patients; adhere to American Nursing Association standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Practices; serve as assistant to Staff Psychiatrist and act as liaison to departmental staff and Clinic Manager; coordinate psychiatric management of an individual’s chronic mental illness; serve as nurse practitioner and act as liaison between the Manager, Clinical Coordinator and Staff Psychiatrist.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and in receipt of a diploma; Licensed WI RN; 1000 hours of post degree certification working with chronically mentally ill and AODA individuals; qualification under WI Caregivers Law, WI Act 27; insurance acceptable driver’s license. Prefer coursework regarding management of patient care, psychology, sociology and communications.
