Eligibility List
Marinette County accepting applications for the Deputy Sheriff Eligibility List. Patrol and enforce all county, state and federal laws; apprehend suspects, prepare investigation reports and overall protection of citizens of Marinette County.

Qualifications: United States citizenship; established residency within 15 miles of Marinette County boundaries within 60 days of hire; one of the following: (1) Associate’s Degree in Police Science, Criminal Justice, Corrections, Security or Law Enforcement from an accredited college or university OR (2) 60 fully accredited college level credits; 21 years of age or older; no felony convictions, unless the judgment of conviction has been reversed or a complete pardon has been granted; insurance acceptable WI drivers license within 60 days of hire; certifiable, having completed Department of Justice Training and Standards requirement for law enforcement officers.
