March 29, 2017 - RFP#17-030-30 - 2017 Underbody/Lift Axle/Tailgate/Spreader/Single Wing/Dump Box, Including Installation

Interested vendors may obtain an RFP packet attached on this website.

Original proposals must be submitted by no later than 11:00 a.m. central time on April 27, 2017.  Proposals received after the due date/time will not be accepted.  Marinette County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
 
All proposals must be submitted along with one (1) additional copy.  Proposals shall be sealed and clearly labeled RFP#17-030-30 – (1) Underbody/Lift Axle/Tailgate Spreader/Single Wing/Dump Box Including Installation.  Proposals must be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed below.

The Equipment shall be completed and delivered to Peshtigo shop not later than 60 days from the date of delivery of the truck.  In the event equipment is not delivered within 60 days by the dump body vendor, vendor shall be liable for and shall pay to Marinette County the sum of $100.00 for each calendar day of delay for each dump box/tailgate spreader body not delivered until the equipment is delivered to the Peshtigo shop and accepted by Marinette County. Any modification to this Penalty shall be mutually agreed to by the parties in writing.

All questions related to this RFP must be submitted not later than 11:00 a.m. CST, April 12, 2017, via e-mail to dfrisque@marinettecounty.com.   Clearly mark the e-mail “Questions for RFP#17-030-30 - Underbody/Lift Axle/Tailgate Spreader/Single Wing/Dump Box Including Installation”.  Phone call or faxed questions will not be accepted.
 
Answers to questions will be posted in the form of an addendum to the RFP and placed on the Marinette County website http://www.marinettecounty.com on April 14, 2017, not later than 4:30 p.m. CST.  It is the responsibility of all interested vendors to access the website for this information.  Calls for assistance with the website may be made to (715) 732-7419.
 
BID BOND
A bid bond check in the amount of 5% of the bid made payable to the Marinette County Highway Department must accompany all bids. Acceptable forms of bid bonds are:
Bid bond signed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin.
Cashier’s check
Certified check
Letter of Credit drawn on a responsible financial institution
U.S. Postal money order
