 Veterans requiring transportation to VAMC, Iron Mountain, Michigan or the VAMC, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, should call the Transportation Hotline 10-14 days in advance of their appointment and provide the following information:

VA Facility Destination
Veterans will be contacted by the DAV Coordinator and will give you your designated pick-up point and time.
Veterans must be ambulatory in order to ride. We are sorry, but
cannot transport if you require a walker or wheelchair to ambulate.
Veterans needing oxygen cannot be transported.

Transportation requests can be made 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on our hotline. DAV coordinator returns messages and answers hotline Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30-9:30 A.M. If time permits, calls will be answered or messages returned until 4:30 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. |
