Mission Statement

The Corporation Counsel, as in house legal counsel, provides civil legal services to the entity of Marinette County. It is a professional and administrative position under the supervision of the Marinette County Administrator. Corporation Counsel advises and represents the County in all civil, administrative and regulatory matters, including labor relations; prosecutes mental commitment matters, guardianship and protective placement matters and certain juvenile matters; acts as legal counsel for the child support agency; provides legal counsel to the Marinette County Board of Supervisors, County committees, County officials, departments and employees.
